Pasig City, Philippines — April 29, 2025  Toby’s Sports, the Philippines’ leading multi-brand sports retailer, marked a major milestone in the rise of pickleball with the launch of the inaugural SM Pickleball SuperSeries, a six-day tournament held from April 1 to 6 at SM Megamall. The event signaled the sport’s high-profile entry into the national spotlight, setting the stage for a multi-leg series aimed at expanding pickleball’s reach and building a vibrant, competitive community across the country.

The high-octane tournament drew a dynamic mix of amateur players from across the country, all eager to showcase their skills and be part of pickleball’s growing movement. Adding excitement to the opening leg was the presence of Filipino pickleball ambassador and multi-sport athlete Anna Clarice Patrimonio, who took part in exhibition play and engaged with fans—further fueling interest in the sport among spectators and participants alike.

Throughout the week, players across all divisions clashed in thrilling rallies and tightly contested matchups, culminating in a high-energy finals day that crowned champions in three categories:

·       Blue Ridge Lions claimed the Novice Division with poise and precision, securing a well-earned first place. Dasma Pickleball Club followed closely to take second, while CGPC rounded out the podium in third.

·       Zonebies rose to the top of the Intermediate Division, showcasing grit and teamwork in every match. Shot Shot Shot delivered a strong performance to claim second, and Standout secured third place with solid gameplay.

·       Picklebears dominated the Advanced Division, blending tactical mastery with relentless hustle to take the crown. Standout battled their way to a commendable second-place finish, while the ever-tenacious Picklebees claimed third.
