Pickleball Tournament Mechanics

REGISTRATION & ENTRY FEES

  • Entry Fee: PHP 2,500.00 per team.
  • Submission of form does not automatically grant entry into the tournament.
  • Confirmation Policy: All teams must wait for an official confirmation message from the organizers.
  • Final Rule: We implement a strict NO CONFIRMATION, NO PLAY policy. Only teams with verified payments and confirmed slots will be included in the official bracket.

Tournament Format

  • Category: Mixed Doubles (All-Amateur)
  • Eligibility:
    • Open to amateur players only
    • Tournament committee reserves the right to disqualify ineligible players

Tournament Structure

Round 1: Round Robin

  • All couples will be divided into groups
  • Each team will play 3 matches within their group
  • Matches will be played to 1 game, first to 11 points, win by 1
  • Top 2 teams per group advance to the Semifinals
  • Rankings determined by:
    1. Win–loss record
    2. Point differential
    3. Head-to-head result

Round 2: Semifinals

  • Qualifying teams compete in single-elimination semifinals
  • Matches played to 1 game, first to 11 points, win by 1

Final Rounds

  • Battle for 3rd Place:
    • Semifinal losers compete for 3rd place
  • Championship Match:
    • Semifinal winners compete for the title
  • Final matches played to 1 game, first to 11 points, win by 1

Game Guarantee

  • Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games (Round Robin stage)

General Rules

  • Standard USA Pickleball rules apply
  • Referee or tournament marshal decisions are final
  • Unsportsmanlike conduct may result in warnings or disqualification
  • Teams must be present 15 minutes before scheduled match time
