The shots at the front of the basket and close range don’t require a ton of effort to put them up. This will make sure you focus on your form and release consistent.

This workout is a great way to improve your feel for shots from different distances, which will ultimately lead to you gradually improving your shooting range.

The one-foot jumpers and dribble pull-ups from midrange help improve your balance as well as your footwork when performing a jumpshot.

And for the 3-point shots, of course, being a threat from deep is an important part of today’s game.

As for the free throws at the end of each section of the workout; they’re there because free throws are the easiest points you can score in the game (emphasis on FREE). Being able to make them at a high percentage at varying levels of fatigue is a must-have skill.

The duration of the workout depends entirely on how quickly you’re able to make the required amount of shots per spot.

That’s it for the workout! Of course, if you find the workout too difficult/too easy, you can always alter the amount of shots you take per spot to make it fit to your skill level.
