The election, held during the recent organizational meeting of the new PRA Board of Directors on July 12, 2023, marks another important milestone for the association.
Mr. Claudio, Founder and Chairman Emeritus of Quorum International, Inc. (Toby’s Sports), is a renowned figure in the retail industry and a founding member of the PRA. With his extensive experience and unwavering dedication to the local retail industry, he has played a crucial role in the association’s growth and success over the years.
In his new role as President, Mr. Claudio aims to further elevate the PRA’s position as the leading voice of the retail sector in the Philippines. His visionary leadership and collaborative approach will drive innovative strategies and initiatives to support retailers and advance the industry as a whole.
The outgoing President, Ms. Rosemarie B. Ong of Wilcon Depot, who served with distinction during her term, will now assume the role of Chairman of the PRA for the term 2023-2025. Ms. Ong’s exceptional leadership and tireless efforts have significantly contributed to the association’s achievements.
The PRA extends its heartfelt congratulations and a warm welcome to the new PRA President Bobby Claudio. Members are encouraged to continue extending their full support and cooperation to the PRA under his guidance, as the association embarks on an exciting new chapter.
